Terms & Conditions – ADAS Calibration
1. Definitions
“ADAS” refers to Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, including cameras, radars, and sensors fitted to a vehicle.
“We”, “Us”, and “Our” refer to the ADAS Calibration business.
“You” and “Customer” refer to the vehicle owner, driver, or booking party.

2. Scope of Services
We provide ADAS calibration services using professional diagnostic and calibration equipment, including pre- and post-calibration diagnostic scans where applicable.
ADAS calibration services are carried out in accordance with manufacturer procedures where available. Some vehicles may require static calibration, dynamic calibration, or a combination of both.

3. Vehicle Eligibility & System Availability
ADAS calibration availability depends on:
-
Vehicle make, model, year, and specification
-
Fitted ADAS systems
-
Manufacturer requirements
-
Software compatibility
Not all vehicles or systems can be calibrated. Final confirmation is made by diagnostic scan and VIN check before work begins.

4. Wheel Alignment & Geometry Requirement
Correct wheel alignment and vehicle geometry are critical prerequisites for accurate ADAS calibration.
-
ADAS calibration may be refused or aborted if wheel alignment, thrust angle, or vehicle geometry is outside manufacturer tolerances.
-
We do not carry out wheel alignment unless explicitly stated and booked separately.
-
If a vehicle has recently had wheel alignment performed by another party, responsibility for its accuracy remains with that party.
We accept no liability for incorrect ADAS operation caused by:
-
Incorrect or incomplete wheel alignment
-
Thrust angle being out of specification
-
Worn or damaged suspension, steering, or chassis components
A calibration carried out on a vehicle with incorrect alignment may not be valid and may lead to inaccurate system operation.

5. Customer Responsibilities
The customer is responsible for ensuring that:
-
The vehicle is roadworthy and safe to work on
-
Tyres are correctly inflated and of matching size per axle
-
Suspension, steering, and chassis components are in good condition
-
Wheel alignment is within manufacturer specification prior to calibration
-
Windscreen replacement or repairs have been completed correctly
We will not be held responsible for failed or incomplete calibration due to underlying mechanical, alignment, or vehicle condition issues.

6. Pre-Existing Faults & Mechanical Issues
ADAS calibration does not repair faults.
If pre-existing fault codes, warning lights, mechanical issues, or incorrect vehicle geometry are present, calibration may fail or be refused. In such cases, diagnostic time may still be chargeable.
We are not responsible for faults caused by:
-
Incorrect prior repairs
-
Accident damage
-
Worn or damaged components
-
Incorrect parts or non-OEM glass
-
Manufacturer software limitations

7. No Guarantee of System Performance
ADAS calibration confirms that systems are calibrated to specification at the time of service only.
We cannot guarantee:
-
Future system performance
-
Fault-free operation following wheel alignment changes, impacts, or repairs
-
Behaviour of driver assistance systems in all driving conditions
ADAS features are driver aids only and do not replace safe driving.

8. Diagnostic Reports
Where applicable, pre- and post-calibration diagnostic reports are provided for reference. These reports reflect vehicle status at the time of testing only.
Reports are not a warranty against future faults or misalignment.

9. Cancellations, Abortive Work & Alignment Issues
If calibration cannot be completed due to:
-
Wheel alignment or geometry being out of specification
-
Incorrect booking information
-
Undisclosed vehicle faults
We reserve the right to charge for:
-
Diagnostic time
-
Calibration setup and labour
-
Partially or fully completed work
Missed appointments or late cancellations may be chargeable.

10. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
-
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses
-
We are not responsible for incorrect alignment performed by third parties
-
Liability is limited to the value of the service provided
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

11. Trade & Third-Party Work
For work carried out on behalf of garages, bodyshops, windscreen companies, or fleets, responsibility for:
-
Wheel alignment
-
Vehicle condition
-
Prior repairs
remains with the referring party unless agreed otherwise in writing.

12. Data Protection
Vehicle and customer information is handled in accordance with UK data protection legislation. Diagnostic data may be stored for service records and compliance purposes.

13. Acceptance of Terms
By booking or authorising ADAS calibration work, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
